Important Note Unlike many other rural districts in Alaska, we plan carefully for recruiting in January, and post all of our expected openings in March. We do not hold back openings for certain job fairs, or list one position to gather applicants for multiple openings. All jobs are posted until filled, and the database is updated live directly from the ATP Job Bank database. In other words, with BSSD there is no bait and switch, and candidates are encouraged to research each village, and each school carefully. We want you as a candidate to know as much as possible about the location and position you are considering. If you are offered a contract with us, you can be assured that you will be teaching both what we listed, and where we had it listed in the announcement.
